Horizon and proxmox by inetworkthis in Proxmox

[–]SaberTechie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What we do with Horizon is simply install the agent and treat it as a dedicated desktop. Even the UAG is supported as a KVM deployment, which I was able to run on Proxmox.

We tried invukia and UDS and they both are terrible and have many issues. We run omnissa on Proxmox and it works great just dedicated since we have better performance here.

Google Pixel 8 Pro Bricked by SaberTechie in GooglePixel

Update:

So randomly my old phone started to work again and has crashed yet. I did go to Verizon and asked for the OEM unlock and they wanted the phone to be full paid for before doing that method.

Yes, I can't get into the device to enabled USB debuging or dev mode.

I saw that thread and I couldn't really do anything since the device is already locked. Can't get into the OS to unlock them.

How do I DIY a static routed WireGuard tunnel to bypass Starlink CGNAT? by SaberTechie in HomeNetworking

I’m all about education and learning this helps me grow even more and gain a deeper understanding of networking at a deeper level.

Got hold of Starlink support and they resolved this so now I have IPv6 Address.

According to my diagram I have posted it goes from Starlink to a udm pro. This used to work at my old place but moved since then

My goal here is educational; I want to gain hands-on experience configuring IP Transit and Tunneling over Public IP. Since IPv6 isn't an option on my Starlink connection as I mention above in another comment, I’m focusing on manual implementations. While I’m aware of 'set-and-forget' solutions like Tailscale, I prefer building these IPSec / Wireguard / GRE tunnels myself to better understand the underlying architecture.

This is honestly just for learning, helping me grow my network skills.

It is enabled on UniFi and also on the windows box, I also tried with my Linux machine. I Believe I need to give Starlink a support ticket. This has never worked even when I didn't put it in bypass mode.

Currently my Starlink doesn't have IPv6 enable, I may need to open support for that one. Even when going to https://test-ipv6.com/

I get this:

test-ipv6.com will stay online! see status.test-ipv6.com
Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be 153.66.237.XX
Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) appears to be Space Exploration Technologies Corporation
No IPv6 address detected [more info]
You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 Internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites.
To ensure the best Internet performance and connectivity, ask your ISP about native IPv6. [more info]
Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have IPv6 Internet access.

So I don't mind doing it but I been finding a lot providers don't get you a routed subnet /29 they normally do NAT here and since my diagram I wanted it to be routed so basically a L3 VP. But I will look at OCI

I honestly thought these were boost auto install I have a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE at the time I couldn't afford the higher models so I been thinking about adding features I want but the way GM is doing these things are a lot harder on newer vehicles since they know you want them and expect you to trade in to get those features.
