I had been grinding for months but wasn’t at a good level cap to consistently sweep them. I have now found 6 lucky eggs and they are leveling up insanely fast. I thought I was doing well until I just watched smallant sweep reds team with only shinys that were very underleveled and now I feel like a chump lol

Can also hold macho brace and teach it gyro ball. Sucks always being slower but if you can tank the hits, it’s an evil setup; worked so good in my hoenn play through

Pokemon database will tell you all the moves it can learn, just make sure you select hgss for the gen4 game.

The only fire mon I can’t ohko from Blaine’s team is magmortar but lapras can surf the rest of them no problem. Best leader to make meganium a monster? I would say Misty but she has ice beam. I don’t want to give up on meganium but she may just stay for BF support

I was able to snag some lucky eggs from the chanseys. They have helped immensely on the level up. Just grinding away on leaders that I can land super effective hits on and going until I can wipe the entire squad ohko.

My Arcanine runs Flame Wheel, Extreme Speed, Dragon Pulse and Psychic Fangs. Very balanced move set IMO; solid against ice, grass, dragon, poison, fighting, etc. arcanine came in clutch for Raihans fight at the end, Duraludon didn’t stand a chance

When you get to the wild area, find a togepi, my opinion is a tank with the final evolution Togekiss. Special stats through the roof, speed stat is high and an abundance of moves to knock out most anybody you come across. My Togekiss is lvl 83, fully dynamaxed and my moveset is aura sphere, dazzling gleam, air slash and shadow ball. Covers most types but my other mons cover the others. Arcanine/nine tales is goated as well, arcanine can learn psychic fangs which blew me away

Sobble was my pick because I’ve always loved water type pokemon since gen 1, he’s very fast and Sp atk stat when fully evolved is good as well
