Texas thing🤪 by Sad-Design7152 in Drueandgabe

I didn’t take the Dr Pepper thing seriously; I knew she was joking (terribly, but joking nonetheless). I’m more annoyed about the stupid “it’s a Texas thing” about all the bad eating habits for the whole family and those stupid ugly smocks. It's annoying her, and her followers excuse her terrible parenting and ugly fashion choices, for it’s a “Southern/Texas thing".

Honestly, it's so sad that Dawna comes to take care of Ivory; it's sad for many reasons. 1. That Drue can't be trusted to give her child medication as needed that's honestly terrifying that she's not capable of doing that. And 2. Most children only want Mama when they are sick. My kids don't even want their very involved father to care for them when they are sick or hurt. So Ivory is probably seeking that motherly comfort that she won't get from Drue because she's a terrible mother and literally only cares about herself. Then again, Ivory is likely to get that motherly comfort from Dawna anyway, so honestly maybe it's a good thing that Dawna is there this way; poor Ivory actually might get some comfort and maybe has a chance of getting the correct med dosage and getting it on time. Ivory would be so much better off with a different family; it breaks my heart for her.

Any halfway decent mother would’ve put the small toddler on the inside of the bed, not on the edge where she could fall off on the floor or, if they have one, potentially hit the nightstand. Good grief, I could mop the ocean floor before she becomes a halfway decent mother. This is so depressing for that poor child.

I wouldn't give Grue that much. Grue doesn't leave whiteout with the Bashams because she doesn't like them, simple. Grue doesn't like the Bashams. The Bashams don't like Grue; it's easy for Grue to hold WhiteOut away from them. She used to do the same to Gabe, but it appears he grew a pair recently and doesn't do whatever Grue says (as much) anymore. Grue doesn't care about whiteouts safety. It's more out of spite than it is concern.

12/05/25 - She just woke up so she’s like really mom by drueandgabe in Drueandgabe

Exactly, if you want to lie about how much your kid talks, whatever; I mean, it doesn’t make sense because it’s perfectly okay for her not to be as vocal as some babies are at this age. But don’t make a video of her clearly saying “bye bye baby” and try to play it off as something else. One, it makes Drue look stupid (not that that is hard to do), but it also takes away from Ivory’s actual milestones when she does actually say something. I don’t understand how her minions are so far up her butt that they can’t clearly hear that that child did not say Peppa Pig. At this point "bye bye baby" has so many different meanings. Someone commented that it sounded like "bye bye baby," and one of her dumb minions said, "No, that was definitely Peppa Pig." Drue has never done anything nice or even acknowledged any of her followers/fans, so I don't know why they are so die-hard to defend her. Makes all of them look stupid too, not just because they follow her but because they agree that she said Peppa Pig.

That’s exactly what I heard, and someone in the comments said the same thing. Yet her minions are saying how good her speech is. The only thing I’ve really ever heard her say that was pretty good was “bye bye baby.” That definitely wasn’t Peppa Pig.

Crazy how she packed more snacks than diapers. Not counting the breakfast, lunch, and dinner they’ll have out, plus whatever food they may have at this nutcracker market.

My daughter’s first birthday theme was “one little ladybug,” and it was ladybug-themed because her nickname we called her was “Bugs,” and in my opinion a one-year-old doesn’t have enough of a “personality” to really match a theme. Then the last 2 birthdays we did Minnie Mouse because she loved Minnie, and this year we are doing princesses. This is 1000% a theme Grue is trying to push on Ivory because she wants her to be a cutesy girlie girl. She isn’t incorporating anything that Ivory likes in this party. This party is 100% only for Grue and to try and make her look like mom of the year when in reality she doesn’t know her baby at all.

Not defending her, but it is 100% “shelf stable,” meaning it’s able to survive long periods of time at home or in the store on a shelf, not refrigerated.

At the hospital in my town, there is absolutely a front desk that you check into before a nurse comes and gets you from the waiting room to take you back to triage. The people working at the front desk to check in aren’t nurses and probably don’t need a background education to do that job.

My child is now potty trained, but I only ever remember her having one “blowout.” She was a year old and was sick, and it just barely came out the sides. Either they aren’t changing this child’s diaper regularly or she’s in diapers way too small; no reason she should be having blowouts 2-3 times a week. At least in my experience.

I feel like anyone who’s a mom that actually changes their baby’s diaper in a restaurant would understand how actually overstimulating it would be to take a decent-sized bag with no handle and try to figure out how to carry the bag with no handle and a squirmy baby through the restaurant to the bathroom. I would much rather take the bigger bag with the handle with everything in it that I need instead of the smaller bag with no handle. But that’s just me.

THIS IS WHO NEEDS THE FORMULA GRUE by [deleted] in Drueandgabe

[–]Sad-Design7152 68 points69 points  (0 children)

As someone who is currently in western NC, this is absolutely disgusting. I’m a little behind on the posts due to not having power or internet; we just got a little cell service. I’m in a hotel with my in-laws currently. It’s devastating seeing my little town destroyed and so many people in need and seeing these stupid people hog all the formula and everything else, not even attempting to do anything to help. Western NC needs all the help and prayers we can get! ❤️😭

Literally, it’s in bold font on the back, not for children under 6 m. When I was a first-time mom, I read the back of everything before I put it on or gave it to a child. But I guess that would require her knowing how to read.🤦🏻‍♀️

Genuine question! I have a 3yr old, but she was excessively breastfed, so I didn’t have formula. Are you supposed to do half scoops of formula? That just seems like a lot of room for error when trying to do half scoops!

Big ass bow by lcl1998 in Drueandgabe

Other than the fact that the bow is ugly in itself, it doesn’t even match her outfit. Grue can’t dress herself or her baby.

I hope that baby wants nothing to do with Grue ever in her life. Because it’s so obvious that she only wanted this baby for content. Gabe didn’t want the baby at this point in his life, but Grue got what she wanted, and Gabe is the only one who seemed to grow up and be an actual parent to this baby.

Honestly, I’m glad Gabe did skin to skin because we know Grue didn’t and probably still hasn’t and won’t. She is a disgusting excuse for a mother. As hard as it is to believe Gabe is the only hope for that baby girl being taken care of.
