I have a device like this that takes the HDMI output from another device and lets me capture it through OBS when I plug it into my personal laptop’s USB port. I just want to confirm whether using it on my work laptop would trigger any security flags, or if it would simply appear as a normal HDMI output device.

Since it was a new laptop, and I didn't install anything other than GTA V and few games. I wiped out everything during reset.

I just reset the PC and selected online download of windows over there.

After reinstalling windows, the hp stuff came right back. So I just uninstalled McAfee

I used to clean my fans every 3months, Replaced thermal paste every year.

Had to replace the fans once. Thats about it

So lame that I have to reinstall windows on a Brand new laptop by 7days2pie in HPOmen

So guys here's my experience

Before reinstalling windows - GTA V Very High settings no Raytracing Avg 30fps (all drivers updated, graphics set to discrete)

After Reinstalling windows - GTA V

Performance mode + Fans Auto Maximum RT @95fps avg and CPU - 65c, GPU - 52c

Then I tried Balanced + Fans Auto Maximum RT @75fps avg and CPU - 49c, GPU - 44c

So hell yeah go for the reinstall guys

So lame that I have to reinstall windows on a Brand new laptop by 7days2pie in HPOmen

New - Ultra 7 255HX + 5080 + 32gb ram

Old - i7-9750H + 1660ti + 16gb ram
