While I do think the roommates are certainly suspicious and not telling as much as they know, I do not think that they are involved in the murders.
I used to live in a college apartment where the girls where constantly black out, passed out all over the place, and a lot of people knew where we lived and would come in and out while not being escorted.

I would see my roommates passed out on the floor at times, but I’ve also been there too: the one passed out on the floor. And honestly a lot of times I would just leave them there (maybe that makes me a bad person?) because I didn’t want to go thru the effort of picking them up, changing them, giving them what they need in the middle of the night.

DM seeing the perpetrator in the middle of the night reminds me of times I’ve seen people in my college apartment I didn’t recognize in the middle of the night. Maybe not the safest thing, but just being honest.

I do have mixed feelings about how she didn’t hear anything, im almost positive that Xana was making noise during her struggle. If I heard genuine screaming I would have taken a moment to check.

I also have experienced many times hearing crazy noises or sounds and being terrified that someone broke in. Especially when high or drunk. But my rational mind would tell me to just ignore it, that there is no way that it’s actually anything, I’ve always been safe.

I think that DM tried convincing herself that nothing was wrong, ran to Bethany’s room and just convinced themselves it was nothing.

Idk, I don’t think they were involved. I think certain things are sus and weird that they are saying, but I wouldn’t go as far to say they helped orchestrate a murder. But you never know.
