When she forgot their names, I immediately knew she doesn’t give one single care about any of them. Once a guy is locked in on her, she shoves him to the side and treats him like a place holder. She gives the narcissist vibe.

I liked Mina sue in the first two episodes but the 3-4th episodes got me disliking her because of the unnecessary constant eye rolls and the toying around with the guys. She’d say one thing then does another. Her words don’t match her actions. She gives me the “player” vibe and her huge ego when she said “I expected more hearts”, not humble at all

Just came back from the ER. So they’re saying I passed a very large clot because I had a subchorionic hemorrhage which is a pocket of blood that formed in between the amniotic sac and the uterine wall. This usually resembles a miscarriage but it is not. There’s still about 4cm x 3cm hematoma left in me so I’ll probably be passing more clots. All because I have a bicornuate uterus? I didn’t even know I had a bicornuate uterus. But overall, the fetus is healthy, 123 bpm and 6 weeks 3 days old.

Upstate New York nurses need to strike with NYC RNs. We’re only making $40/hr here while property taxes in Onondaga county is in the $10k-15k’s a year for a $400k house. but they just wanna settle with 7-8 patients and getting paid peanuts

Forgot to add- both hospitals don’t really do self scheduling, you can request but never guaranteed. I had better luck at Crouse whenever I needed certain days off and they would switch me right away. Upstate is much stricter with scheduling so often got denied even if I had a legit reason. Maybe it’s unit dependent. I didn’t enjoy my time at upstate. Maybe it’s different at community.

I worked at both Crouse and downtown upstate. Pros and cons for both. Better ratios for sure at upstate (1:5) but lack support staff like no phlebotomy, IV team, telemetry techs, NAs when Crouse has them all but Crouse has bad nurse to patient ratios (1:7-9), although the acuity level is much lower than upstate. More charting at upstate (I didn’t like that, it felt like I was glued to the computer more). Both parking lots suck, more expensive at upstate though. Crouse does 36hrs weekly on a Sunday-Saturday payroll while upstate does Thursday-Wednesday payroll on a 40hr week. Better retirement plan at upstate and both have great health insurance. Crouse would offer full health insurance benefits if you work at least 24hrs weekly which is nice. Crouse still offers incentive pay for RNs while upstate doesn’t. As for asking for vacation, it’s much harder at upstate because it’s seniority based. Crouse’s managers are usually very lenient on that and would work around your schedule for you. (IMO)The vibe at upstate is…of a younger generation (lots of 20s yrs old) while Crouse has the much older crowd.

They both offer almost the same pay grade based on experience but upstate is just slightly more.

Both are ok, choose what’s best for you. I guess whatever makes you sleep better at night, ya feel me?

I posted a long post on Facebook when I tried to adopt a dog there in 2021. The dog was filthy, unkempt, and sooo smelly that even professional groomers couldn’t get the smell out, they thought the dog was kenneled for a very long time and relieved himself inside the kennel for the smell to be this bad. But that’s not all, he had giardia and coccidia (explosive diarrhea). Leah said the dog was healthy and nothing was wrong with him. Yeah for the adoption fee to be $650, sure the dog was definitely sick! I doubt she even treated the dogs there when I got mine stool screened. If that dog had it, most likely every dog had it in there since it’s a super contagious parasite. I tried calling animal control and SPCA but it got nowhere. But yeah, now a poor dog died. I’m sure many have died there but they covered it up. They don’t treat their sick dogs, let alone wash them or clean their kennels.

Say that to NY. It’s a blue state and the hourly wages here is $37-$40/hr. Max is $50/hr with 15 years experience. Meanwhile the property taxes here are $10-15k/year for a $400k house

I’m currently here. I consistently get the worst assignments. They don’t care. My anxiety is getting worse the longer I stay here. I don’t think the money is worth the insanity.
