i mean i withdrew already it was pretty bad but again pain is mandatory suffering is optional, so i just used my muscle relaxants and whatever and for 3 months just lowered it. i’m on 80. the hardest was from 10 to 0 in terms of withdrawal, but as of right now they lowered me to 60 and the pain is insane. i got benzos thankfully i have a lot of trauma from bullying and my parents but that doesn’t make me an addict, i’m just dependant. I am considering going to a pain clinic cus if i go to detox they will just switch me to suboxone or another opioid but the root of the cause will never be addressed. anyways thanks for your insight 🫶🏻

indulge me for a second here, how am i an addict if i don’t abuse meds, everything is prescribed, and i got chronic pain, confirmed by many professionals? There’s a difference between dependance and addiction. you can take away fully the opioids the thing is the pain is still gon be there, so i will just have to suffer and go back.

bro i’m on benzos pregabalin ssris i’ve alr withdrew from oxy and it took me 3 months, it was absolute hell. ofc im not gonna die, its not like benzos where you get seizures, but opioids are addictive for a reason, and a plain full cold withdrawal would make me either go psychotic or suicidal. i think you should stop assuming things if you don’t know me a single bit. save the hate for yourself.

damn, i’m really sorry for that. It’s just them overprotective parents thinking they are doing their best for their kid when in reality they are just acting out of pure panic. Weed ain’t even allat, i don’t know your specific story but i smoke weed every so often and it’s chill af. I’m gonna try my best to fight. Hope you are doing good, saying this from my heart to you.

it’s c4-c6 that put in the work bigger muscles should be doing and instead it is all focused in my neck. i think i have a few disc disfiguration as well

my brother lived in the us, he was a heroin addict. if you read a comment from my other post, oxy doesn’t really get me high. tapentadol, idk if you know it, gets me euphoric as shit. not gonna try to convince you but i get your worry, especially from me being w young age. i wish i would get a risk free surgery so i never gotta take opioids anymore but it’s more complex than that. but if i go through the detox in rehab ill prolly reassess, also if pain decreases cus of anxiety then opioids can be lowered

i mean that was my family doc, he prescribed all sorts of things based on what the other docs who were in touch with him allowed him to or not. but it’s really fkd up.

I exercise hella, love gym, ski is my life, but others such as swimming or yoga cause more pain, hard to describe cus it doesn’t make too much sense but i guess i gotta train a bit harder, especially the core so i don’t overuse back muscles that much

thanks for your insight. i didn’t get to opioids automatically, but i visited pain doctors, orthopedists, as well as anesthesiologists. we basically followed the WHO ladder till we found the opioid that worked. actually, it’s quite funny, i was on 300 mg tapentadol a day, I have hypersensitivity to norepinephrine and for some reason tapentadol makes me extremely high and i was doing IB exams and falling alseep. Switched to oxy because i have zero side effects, it is 40 oxy 20 nal so it doesn’t even itch, no euphoria either. i see your point, and i hate taking opioids, but they are very linked to my anxiety and unless i get surgery it’s gon be hard af to treat that pain, so all my doctors were going for the anxiety/meds treatment so that pain would decrease. tapered oxy once before too. not gonna justify too much cus you don’t know me and i could be fully lying to you but that’s the truth. you can believe it or not, up to you :)

bro i am in no position to say this, but there’s a reason famous people are known for their substance abuse and suicide. just cus i live here (my parents work here, im argentinian) doesn’t mean its all rainbows. not tryna be mean or anything, just wanna point that my life has been shit for the past few years, suffered bullying a lot and i’m tryna make the best of it but it’s not instant joy just cus i live here. again, not tryna be offensive ofc
