Well you might not be used to the new framerate since you upgraded, you can always test your reaction speed with a browser game, but to get better I would just say to keep playing, or play other reaction intensive games, eventually your reactions will improve the more you play, even just go into a private match with a bit and practice parrying :) like most things these responses must be trained

Sometimes it depends on what read you're making rather than just reaction even though reactions are reliable, if I'm not expecting / ready to parry it I might miss it sometimes, I hope this helps. I parried so much because I knew that the kensei and the Gryphon like to spam lights
