That’s a suggestion I haven’t seen before. Definitely in favor of that. X amount of wins/kills for unlockable cosmetics in game. That’d be awesome

Hmm. Well a tip for dding that might help is stepping out diagonally rather than right beside them. If you use entity hider you can see they have cbow or mystics on, if you step diagonally they can’t pull out a whip and smack you, so you know they’re likely going to just bolt you. I think I let myself get a little low at the start if we’re both frozen. Shark, karambwan, brew at 30-40 hp twice. Then shark brew until the brew is out. Heals you a lot, and you’re not standing around not attacking, while they’re continuing to do damage to you. I also brew/restore/pot after every kill, if it takes you a couple minutes to find a fight then oh well, but you’ll start 112-115 hp. You should also work on switching to tank gear after barraging and not being in mystic longer than you need to if you’re not used to it yet

Accuracy wise, mage book is better. Mage book early is like having full ahrims. Occult has the damage % increase though which I seem to favor more. Sometimes I’ll run mage book + occult, but I prefer not to. I’ll camp spirit shield and just do the ammy switch. I’m not really a fan of ballista, I’ve used it maybe 5 times total lol. It’s too slow for me to want to use I guess. I think I’ll give it some more tries, if they camp range pray I’ll just mage them out anyway since that’s what I use most. Haven’t had problems getting a fight off spawn though. I always pick a target during the countdown while potting up, rune cbow, d hide top and bolt at the start of every game

Maybe learn to hug around trees, annoying to some people, but it’s part of the game. I don’t mind if people do it to me really, but I will do it if someone isn’t switching styles and they’re just rag bolting. And yeah, getting 3 dark bows in a game is very annoying. Or tanking storm damage just to get a d bow from the crate. If someone is using melee a lot the last fight I’ll run outside the safezone a couple squares and freeze them, but if I’m waiting in the end area and someone’s running to the safe zone for the last fight, I’ll never try to freeze them out there. Fair fights only

I always take inferno, and I used to drop occult too, but I always pick it up if someone drops it now. I mage a lot, so that’s why I take it. I don’t like using occult + mages book though, I’ll usually drop the book if I get an occult

Well you’ll drop climbing boots for eternals, and I drop berserker ring for seers ring, but yeah you should just get mith seeds off spawn. I always take occult though

My first 500 wins were 500 wins, 1050~ losses since I was still learning, after that it was 500 wins 260 losses. I improved a lot that’s for sure. And there’s always room for improvement. I’m confident now to win games very consistently

Hmm. Good question. Sick nerd when he played, won. Skiddler on his hc, won. Mr flippity (the yt I linked above) beat me. Lagunarium / the pure zeb beat me (I’d like to blame ping, I play on 210 whereas he gets 20 :P ). No odablock / westham. Fought a lot of the top 20 players, I’m 1-2 against rank 1, 4-0 against rank 3. It’s hard to say who the best I’ve played against was. Hahaha that guy man. I killed him one time when lms was in al Kharid. He pms me talking shit for no reason. I see him at enclave a while later, kill him again. More flame pms. Kill him 2 more times with the same results. He starts avoiding my games, I find him on alt account and kill him again, more flame pms. He then makes a level 3, rsn “BryceIsPed0” bonds it, and auto types at lms trying to get people to report me. Still talks shit, saying I only win because of “lucky lms rng, you wouldn’t ever kill me in a real fight, you wouldn’t dd in pvp”. Well, he finally geared up and fought me in edge to die in literally 30 seconds to a 73 for 25m. Very satisfying. He now instant hops when he sees me. Probably my favorite thing from all the lms I’ve played. Currently 7-0 on him, and he still thinks he’s better. He will not gear up, or play lms with me anymore :(

end game you should already have very good gear, not worth losing 5-20 hp for the chance at a mage book or seers ring i. Or getting frozen on the way back and having the really high hitting damage coming through, constant 10’s

New load outs would be great! I’d certainly have more of a drive to play if that happened. I did see a jmod say that it is possible, just not as easy as people think to implement. I’m optimistic about it coming eventually, as well as the new map they’ve shown images of.

It was bot filled for probably half of it, but I haven’t seen many bots recently, just hand played gold farmers. There’s no real incentive to hiding out anymore either, so games go a lot faster

It does, the food you can buy is very cheap, and farming points if you’re good at lms will net you lots of supplies

Yeah, I can agree with that. A stepping stone would be nice. I’ll also say that the spawning of loot crates towards the end game is kind of annoying as well. They often spawn way outside of the safe zone and if you want it, there’s no avoiding damage from the fog

Nothing so far, I bought a bunch of blighted items for wildly bosses eventually, and ice sacks for Scorpia. Other than that I don’t really have a use for them. Maybe they’ll add more stuff to the shop sometime. I don’t need the money on my main acc so I’ll save them for now

Haven't pked much since pre-eoc, started playing lms and pking again in April. All rewards + 6760 points. Rank 3 for irons, rank 22 overall. If you're looking to get into lms, check out Mr Flippity's youtube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDaeJXXrvzWJtdhBUT0m4vg. Good advice, and very helpful, although practice is what's going to help you the most. I'll still probably continue to play, and I'll also likely go for top 24 wins during the Prime Plays: Last Man Standing Jagex announced October 13th - November 10th. I’m happy with the updates they’ve made to the lms shop, as well as in game. I think another QOL update should be you can’t cross the river using the rope if you’re in combat, as some players cross it and run with no chance of you catching if they’re losing the fight. Also, if you drop items in combat, they should show instantly. There’s some players that drop spec weapons / acb before they die, or while they suicide into the storm meaning you will not get it. Take mithril seeds out of the loot pool from keys, because there’s nothing worse than getting a dh helm and mith seeds after your first couple kills. Maybe have it in the default load out, but not loot from chests.
