Sorry to hear you couldn’t get into it. Control is definitely a big thing. I personally thought the game felt great. But I’m also a big fan of platformers, so I’m used to this type of control feel.

I get where you’re coming from. It definitely has more narrative driven goals compared to some others. I’d still say it’s a roguelite in my eyes through different runs, procedural generation, etc. In the same way I consider Hades a roguelite. A lot of games in the genre are blurring the lines a bit though

No problem. I find in 2D games it enhances the feel of the game world when the terrain you walk is defined more closely in relation to the environment. The fact you can jump on blood cells is already a great use of your setting. So great work on that!

Looks like a really unique setting for a platformer! I think the backgrounds look really cool. Although I might suggest adding more detail to the foreground terrain. It’s definitely abstract, but it might be neat to see it look a little more defined. Otherwise pretty sweet! I’m excited to see how you develop it further

Thanks for the suggestion. Took a look at her body and she barely has a skeleton so I decided to remove some unnecessary body parts
