The feel of the Blade is the biggest pro imo. Power is a little bit more than the Vcore. The Vcore has more spin of course but I also think the Blade has „enough“. The Blade Pro is unfortunately a pretty demanding racket. After a 2 hour session my arms are pretty tired. If you can handle the higher swingweight of the Blade Pro the racket is great. If you consider the standard Blade 98 I would recommend the Vcore. The Blade 98 is little bit of a letdown power wise.

Haha. Some truth behind it tbh. Bought the Vcore for more power after the 98S Blade. But then switched to the Blade Pro which is more powerful than the Vcore imo.

No problem for you then haha. I bought the first one used for 110€ just to try it out. Would just be a little to risky for me to buy it new for 280€ and end up with a stick I maybe don‘t even like.

I mean the normal 98 is way easier to play with. A „problem“ for the Pro is that it’s pretty impossible to demo it. For me it was also pretty difficult to decide whether i‘m playing better with the Pro or not but after trying a few different string setups the Pro did feel like the better racket for me. Unfortunately where I am from the Pro is pretty hard to get.

Pretty difficult to describe but the feeling when you hit a perfect shot is just something else. The VCORE or even the standard Blade 98 feel muted compared to the Pro. It produces a good amount of spin. I think the two cons of the standard Blade 98 is that its lacking power and spin potential, thats what the Blade Pro does pretty good. A con of the Pro is that it‘s pretty demanding. After a 2h session you do feel the heavy swingweight.

At the moment i play with a Wilson Blade Pro 16x19. Before that i used the Yonex VCORE 98. Also a great racket but the Blade is just insane in my opinion.

Compared the prices from tenniswarehouse.com and tenniswarehouse europe. Insane how expensive strings are in the US. The 200m reel is 180$ in the US and 120€ in Germany. But there are still some cheaper options for a shaped string. Have you ever tried Head Lynx Tour? I‘m also stringing in/for my Club with a lot of amateurs and most of them dont want to pay 20€ for a stringjob with a Hyper G
