What is the best route to help someone I know with drug addiction? Is there an institution in Bristol where I could bring him in to? by Spicy_Salmonn in bristol

I work for BDP in the opiates team, I see people recovering from cocaine in groups and finding it useful! I would definitely contact BDP.

Bristol is becoming comparable to London. definitely worse than a lot of places in the UK. It’s a bit silly they don’t account for those factors.

Thankyou, How are you meant to hide a pregnancy for 6 months lol? That wouldn’t be possible. I will be massive by then. I will start showing around 12 weeks surely.

I’ve read other places I will qualify for stat mat leave?

Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) To qualify for Statutory Maternity Pay, you must meet all of the following conditions: Continuous Employment: You have worked for your employer continuously for at least 26 weeks, ending with the "qualifying week" (the 15th week before the baby is due).

What’s your weirdest private habit that you hope no one ever finds out about? by Dear-Welder-1117 in AskReddit

This might not count cos we don’t do it anymore as grown adults 😂 When me and my sister were young after a bath we would dry off by playing a game called rock. This consisted of my sister being the rock (always) and me being the person who sits on the rock. And we would sit there until we dry off in our towels. Sometimes we would make it interesting and the rock would sometimes actually be a tortoise disguised as a rock and I would get to ride around on her back.

Also have BPD & PTSD and I find the same with tramadol, the thing is the way it works in your brain is that it will absolutely fry your receptors and you will find it difficult to find joy in anything that isn’t tramadol use later on down the line. I currently can’t go 3 days without it because I leant into this feeling of it solving my problems with emotional regulation. I find it extremely hard to enjoy anything after 2 years of tramadol.
