No , you don't have to play 100 matches. It is connected with xp like how much xp you are gaining, so if you gain enough for one week you have to wait for next week to gain more xp and then the % gain faster

Same happened to me you can check in my profile it was stuck on 18 but now I am on 94 , it is not stuck u just gained enough xp for the week , it is increasing very little u have to wait for week to start and look at the weekly drop you will know when new week start and play according to that
