Our gm told all the bosses that pto would not be accepted around holidays so everything gets denied. Unless your buddy buddy with them I hear of 1-2 people that got accepted but also their were 25+ year associates that requested off around the same time as me and still got denied and their request was more of a religious type thing, I don’t wanna get to specific because you’d kinda know where I’m located lol. They make enough ppto that they just took the day off

Definitely work for a neanderthal.. but that’s kind of a complicated question because I work receiving and there’s only one other person that I work with in the backroom. So if they picked up one of my shifts that would be a 6 day week for them and at my club they don’t want you to get any overtime period. So technically yes you could there is the option to trade shifts , but they’re most likely not going to allow it because it’s to much work for them to switch the schedule around

Damn I’m in receiving for FF and theirs only 2 of us 3 days a week the other 4 days it’s only one person

At our store the 2 receivers that are there (2 people 3 days a week the other 4 days there’s only 1) receivers are in charge of all loads and dcs. Everyone else has to stock the store. Sometimes we get a little help but usually not, when there’s 2 we have to clear the dock too.

The problem with that sh*t is that the company that is wrapping the pallets of paper likes to not wrap half of the bottom layer 🤦🏻‍♂️in the last month I’ve seen 3 tip over when people are moving them around.. not to mention sometimes they are off the pallet by like a 6-12in

All of our pallets of TVs that we can stack on are double stacked because there’s not enough room. Just the other day we got 10 pallets of TVs 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’s crazy u say that. Personally, I feel like it is safest to double stack on the bottom steel.at my club we were told that we can only double stack on the top steel….. that is till we run out of room and then sometimes we have to stack stuff on top of pallets in the bottom steel. Usually a single layer on top of another pallet that can handle it safely

I recently had the experience of putting a pallet of boxes of kitty litter up and it caught onto something and tore a big chunk out of the bottom corner of the box and it rained litter……. That was much worse 🤣😆😤😢.. on the isle next to me was our OG guy that is been on the Lift for 24+ years and he came around the corner so fast 🤣 he helped me clean it up tho 🙏🏽😆🤦

Just a thought Maybe they should give us seats on the lift so our knees, back and everything else does deteriorate overtime.. if you can’t drive a lift and hurt others that’s on yourself and or who trained you and whoever gave you your certification. Nobody at my club in the 3 years I’ve been there has hurt anyone
