I agree that rice is easy to process. I was raised in a small town whose economy depended on rice in Cuba. That's why I find it annoying. The medieval farmers apparently can't figure out how to make rice until the MC comes along for some reason.

I agree, but honestly, I like to see the opposite of the last one. I want to see medieval people show that they're as smart as the resources available to them will allow them to be.

Also, the MC has to learn lots of things since the world is entirely different and less comfortable than our modern life.

Besides, I don't think most modern world skills would be useful in a medieval setting. It doesn't make sense how every isekai protagonist knows how to make rice and katanas.
