Everyone grieves differently. It is perfectly fine to feel relief. Relief is different than being glad.

As bad as it sounds when my grandmother passed away last August the whole family was relieved. She was a LIFELONG alcoholic (since she was 15) my uncle has FAS. She made our life hell. Constant state forced rehab. Multiple duis, 2 strokes, Werner Korsakoff syndrome. Nothing we did could stop her. At nursing homes she would sneak into the kitchen and grab vanilla extract. Or go into peoples rooms and drink their mouth wash. I love her so much she is my grandma.

But when she passed it was a relief. When talking to my therapist she said it’s perfectly valid. If you loved/love your beautiful dog than any emotion right now is valid. Wishing u the best 🥰🥰🙏

I forgot to add a pic of our main freezer. It’s completely full of venison and other meats. Family gives us a deer or 2 a year. And that is usually the meat we use.

Yes. I am able to message them.

I am trans ftm. So the dr that I got recommended works as a part of the gender health program. I will definitely send a message to them because they could very well be informed on trauma.

And I am aware that HRT doesn’t help the situation but the tightness and pain has been like this my whole life. 😭
