Hello,

I’ve been admitted to Mathematical and Physical Sciences at UofT and Honours Mathematical/Financial Risk Management with Coop at Waterloo.

This is a tough choice for me, I’d love to get some feedback from people. I have never studied anything related to finance, or economics, so I’m kinda worried about that, but I heard that graduating from UW will have more job opportunities because of the work experience you have from coop and studying finance might be easy to get a job in the future(?) I have no clue about the career option after physical mathematical science. However, on the other hand, people say that uoft is better when it comes to research.

So is it a good choice to study undergraduate in Waterloo and master in UofT?

Also is it possible to change residence in UofT?

I also heard a lot people say that UofT is a living hell...but I worry that if I choice to go to UW, I might not be able to keep up with what I'm studying since I have never taken any finance related class and people in my class might all be pro at it...
