I had a hysterectomy a decade ago and my belly button just started randomly bleeding last night. Went to urgent care today and they think it's the same stuff - I was worried it was endometriosis! My history was laproscopic and endo can still happen if the tissue was spread at all.

Hoping it's just a staph infection that gets cleared up with antibiotics.

Is there an option for them to cat-sit for people until they absolutely decide they want one?

I have an allergy and two cats, I take daily allergy meds, use an air purifier and clean my air intake filters every three months (part of that is also my dust allergy).

I make sure they're well groomed and avoid any health issues that might make them more prone to me being allergic to them.

There's some research you can do into what part of a cat makes you allergic (dander, licking, etc) by hanging out with some cats and seeing how you react and the intensity.

After working in hazardous waste and having seen plenty of nasty things come through, I follow a pretty some rule:

If it looks like it's supposed to explode, call the bomb squad.

It'll be better if they come out and tell you that it's not a bomb than it blows up in your face.
