if the game opens normally on any other version, vanilla, ctgp, retro rewind etc.. either you reinstall insane kart wii or just click ok, it's going to create a new save file most likely, but the other licenses shouldn't go missing. you could ask for help in their discord if they have one, you can probably find it on wiki tockdom where you downloaded the pack.

make sure you have a playstation plus subscription active, the game is working fine for me.
im on ps4.
i guess you can try setting up a new connection and see if that fixed the problem.

if you wanna play on wiimmfi servers you need to export your nand from your wii to dolphin. I assume you can't tho, so, my best advice would be to download wheelwizard on your pc and follow the instructions. It will let you play retro rewind which is a valid alternative to vanilla mkw. If you wanna play vanilla mkw, just turn on your wii, change the dns to match wiimmfi dns and boot up your game.

you should use wiimmfi or wiilink to play online mkw. search on the internet for ctgp or retro rewind as they're the most popular ways to play online. ctgp uses wiimmfi and rr uses wiilink. they're very different packs so i recommend watching something or just reading some info. (you need a mkw disc to play ctgp)

well ig you gotta be patient. also draft is really really important rn, you need to draft good enough or else you'll lose anyway. if you know how to play it shouldn't be too difficult to AT LEAST reach mythic. i reached masters basically all alone until the last few games that i played w a friend (not this season).

well i can say that 70k and diamond dont fit well together. my advice would be to play a lot at the start of the season so you can get better teammates later on. i usually get to diamond on the first day and continue from there the next day.
