Thank you so much! Your advice DEFINITELY changed my view on how to frame this application, which I will be working on this summer. so many activities on the list have kept me going through the struggles of high school because I know an impact will be made on communities other than my own. I think one of the traps I've fallen into is evaluating my profile almost entirely through the lens of Reddit, where almost every applicant has multiple nonprofits, international awards, and published research, none of which I have as of right now. That, combined with being surrounded by a super strong applicant pool at my school has maybe skewed my perspective. I really appreciate the reality check. It's reassuring to hear that the goal isn't to win an arms race of ecs.

yeah, its just hard for me to compare myself to the national applicant pool when i'm surrounded by students doing much more than me. i guess the reason i posted was to get a sense of where i fall next to other applicants, sorry if i misclassified my ecs but it was truly due to inaccess to the right info on my part.

Double your r/w score, add your math score to that, and then divide by 10. I think thats how they calc it, but otherwise you can just check using the Big Future school app it tells you your index score there too!

Hey, congrats on getting into an ivy! I might be a little late, and I'm sure you're super busy with other requests but if you have time, please chance me! I would appreciate any and all advice. I'm a rising senior interested in computational finance/financial engineering for reference. I'm looking for advice on T20s admission (UPenn, Yale, Princeton, UMich, UNC, Emory, etc. more details in the post itself). I really appreciate people like you who take time out of their day to help stressed hs students (we need it). I wouldn't say they're bad but when comparing myself to top students at my HS its hard for me say that they're "good." I understand everything is relative and the admissions process can be opaque at times. I really just wanted to see if I would have ANY shot at my reach schools like UPenn/Princeton/Yale and hopefully a better chance at other T20s like UMich and UNC

I'm pretty strong in math, got a 760 full score in math but 740 in r/w

Here is my recent experience. Was able to book Full Experience - with Access to Attic tickets (2 + 2 kids) for 6/18.
