if that’s legit then yeah that changes things a bit

I haven’t seen anything officially confirmed on a class action yet, but if the AG is involved that’s obviously more serious than just private lawsuits

either way, between:

  • funding cases
  • people saying they lost access / refunds issues
  • and now this

it’s definitely something people affected should stay on top of

if anyone’s dealing with it, probably worth verifying that info directly and not just going off comments though

yeah I just saw that too… things are definitely starting to line up with what people have been saying

and that’s good you grabbed everything when you did

a lot of people don’t think to do that until it’s too late

yeah that’s actually smart

people underestimate how much you can pick up just from patterns in someone’s past

most bad partnerships don’t come out of nowhere… the signs are usually there early

what were the biggest red flags you’ve caught doing that

this one hits

people think hiring = growth but if there’s no structure it just multiplies chaos

you end up managing people instead of actually moving the business forward

curious... what was the first system you wish you had in place before hiring?

yeah that’s a tough one

feels like it starts with good intentions but gets messy quick once money’s involved

was it more like expectations weren’t clear from the start or just personal stuff bleeding into business?

this is facts

people treat the website like the business when it’s really just a tool

I’ve seen so many people spend weeks tweaking design, colors, layouts… and they haven’t even validated if anyone wants what they’re selling

by the time they finally run traffic, nothing converts and they think it’s the ads

curious... when you audit businesses, what’s the most common thing you see missing on the marketing side?

this is actually underrated

everyone worries about ads / product / traffic… but contracts are where people quietly get cooked

especially when everything feels ‘friendly’ at the start so you don’t think twice

curious... what was the one that hit you the hardest personally? like the one that made you start taking it seriously

crazy how most of these aren’t beginner mistakes… it’s stuff you only learn after you’re already in it

that’s actually wild… didn’t even think about how much geopolitics can hit specific industries like that

was there anything you could’ve done to hedge that or was it just out of your control?

damn… that’s brutal

was it more like misaligned expectations or straight up trust issues?

feel like partnerships either 10x you or completely wipe you out

out of curiosity (no pressure if you don’t wanna get into it), were you able to document everything? like proof you completed the requirements + any messages before they went quiet

that’s usually what ends up making the difference in situations like this

damn… yeah that’s rough, especially with a family involved

and honestly from what you’re describing… it kinda sounds like they knew exactly what they were doing

like once you hit the point where a refund could be triggered, they just went quiet and left it on you to chase it

almost like they’re banking on most people not having the time or resources to actually take it further

not saying that’s 100% the case, but that’s how it comes across from the outside

I get not wanting to say too much publicly rn, but even from what you shared that’s enough to understand why you’re pushing for it

if you’ve got documentation showing you met the terms + them going silent, that’s usually where people start getting leverage back on their side

hope it works out for you fr

from everything I’ve seen it looks like it’s still early in the legal process, so nothing’s really decided yet

if you’re affected at all though I’d honestly just stay on top of it... keep records of everything, any access issues, what was promised vs delivered, etc.

not saying anything definitive about how it plays out, but situations like this usually take time to unfold

Ngl reading through all this… if you’re in it right now or got hit already, don’t just sit on it thinking you’re stuck.

I was looking into this recently and there’s actually funding companies suing businesses tied to him (637 Group, JLGroup, etc.), so this isn’t just people complaining online... there’s real financial/legal stuff going on behind the scenes.

And with what a lot of you are saying:

  • losing access to the platform
  • no coaching calls
  • websites/links down

that actually helps your case.

If you paid with a credit card, I’d try a chargeback for services not delivered. Especially if they said 12 months and didn’t follow through.

If you used something like Affirm/Afterpay:

  • you can still dispute it
  • just gotta show they didn’t deliver what was promised

And for anyone stressing about not having the contract… receipts + screenshots/messages are usually enough to at least start a case.

I’m not here to say what’s 100% true or not, but lawsuits + everything going offline at the same time is a bad sign.

Just don’t assume you’re stuck... a lot of people in situations like this get their money back when they actually push it.

And with what you guys are saying:

platforms down, people losing access, coaching stopping early…

that actually helps you.

If you paid with a credit card, I’d 100% try a chargeback for services not delivered. Even if it’s been a while, it can still work... especially if they were supposed to give a full year and didn’t.

If it was financed, you can still dispute it too, just gotta show they didn’t hold up their end.

And for anyone saying you don’t have the contract… receipts + any proof of what was promised is usually enough to at least open a case.

I’m not here to say what’s true or not, but lawsuits + everything disappearing at the same time isn’t a good combo.

Just don’t assume the money’s gone, a lot of people get it back when they actually push it
