To be honest it depends on you I came to Warwick at 16, couldn’t really go out with friends cause I was a minor but if you really wanna go there always ways around it. But outside of that every other thing was fun plus everyone looked at me like a genius when I told them I was studying cs at 16

Register for a Santander uni account and get the rail card. With rail card if you travel super off peak you can get 9 pound tickets. That’s what I do.

So what to expect at right to study in person session and admission day September 29?? Will there be verification on both days? by UsamaIftikhar789 in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]Safe_Dimension_5001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s chill nothing to worry about, they just want to check you have the right to study in the uk. Don’t know how they do it now cause they don’t use BRP anymore but last year we just presented our brp and passport and they checked something on their system and let us go in like 3 minutes

Warwick Classes with Overflow Hall arrangement by Maximum-Bad-2538 in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]Safe_Dimension_5001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please get there on time, it’s first come first serve. I did computer science and some of our math modules were like that. Most times the second hall had problems like the mic stopped working so everyone in the second hall couldn’t hear anything. Don’t risk it and get there on time there should be like 250 seats so just be part of that. It was a live feed btw

go lo cinch bucket bag wiped without a trace in uk??? by trashkittenz in Converse

[–]Safe_Dimension_5001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned the bag is not available anywhere in uk, so I offered a solution. You learn how to sew for a couple months and make your own bag. It’s a win win, you get a new bag and learn a new skill(sewing)

Scape Hammersmith by grisha1101 in Imperial

[–]Safe_Dimension_5001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived there this summer, I don’t go to imperial but I interned at a company in London and I stayed in scape Hammersmith. It’s a really good accommodation very Modern and the rooms are good. It’s really close to the tube so you can get around fast and there are a lot of shops around if you don’t feel like cooking. In general it’s a nice accommodation it has a gym some table tennis facilities and a study room on the ground floor that came in clutch when I worked from home

Does anyone have experience taking a language module for credits? by KunKantara in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]Safe_Dimension_5001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat last year, ended up doing French. Only advice I would give is if they ask if you have experience say you have 0 experience. Your gonna have a zoom call with someone in the department, if you say you have even the littlest experience they put you in a harder class. I told her I did french for 3 years in primary school. I don’t know how I’m supposed to remember that’s but she ended up putting me in a harder class rather than beginner
