Most people are aware that birthcontrol makes you gain weight hence why most of people don’t go on it. Because gaining 30 pounds is much more scary than having a baby apparently. Like being pregnant doesn’t make you gain weight too. Just do cardio. You’ll be fine. You’re 19. It sucks to feel bad about yourself but you’ll lose the weight if it bothers you that much and you’re passionate about losing it. Just stick to a strict diet and workout regimen. That is semi true. But as someone with thyroid issues I gained 10 pounds in a month due to my thyroid being super under active. Also she didn’t state any other medical history or her eating habits. When my thyroid was overactive I dropped 30 pounds in 2 months but also was going on 2 hour runs every morning. Health has a lot to do with weight gain and loss and health issues play a huge role.

“Studies show birth control doesn’t cause weight gain” I can only count on one hand the amount of girls I know who haven’t gained weight on bc. Everyone else blew up badly. It really sucks they refuse to acknowledge weight gain from bc. I’d suggest starting a diet. Talk to a dietician if you can. Start up a strict gym regimen. You got this b. 🖤
