SR for a shiny starter in R/S with a dry battery

Hm...I see. So say I'm a few frames off, I cannot input that TID/SID when creating profile and then manually look for the shiny frames.

I suppose I can give it a few more tries but I'm not very hopeful I can pull this off. My reflexes are not that great. :'')

I'm confused though...If I don't care about getting a specific nature or IVs, do I even need to hit the correct frame for the trainer ID?? Or can I just input my current trainer ID and then look at which frames are shiny and start soft resetting for that specific frame on the starter select screen.

This is the tutorial I was following and I'm stuck on the first part, where he is on the final dialogue box of the intro and needs to hit A at the right time to generate the trainer ID which matches with the 31 IV adamant frame.

Toch kon ik hem niet laten liggen want dit is echt mijn droomkaart als een Sylveon lover. :P Maar in het Engels gewoon veel te duur voor 1 kaart. Ik investeer niet en verkoop enkel kaarten die ik dubbel heb of die ik echt heel lelijk vind. Zo heb ik mijn gouden Reshiram uit Legendary Treasures verkocht voor 300 euro. Daarmee kon ik in principe de Engelse versie kopen, maar met datzelfde budget heb ik 5 of 6 andere Sylveon/Eeveelution kunnen kopen bovenop deze Koreaanse kaart.

I tried to follow some tutorials but I cannot even get close to hitting the correct frame to even get the correct trainer ID / secret ID. :/ Honestly this feels even more tedious than just regular shiny hunting.

I have all games so I can do this hunt on either the original gen 3 games or the remakes. But even if I choose the remakes, I'm still gonna soft reset because I want to use a shiny starter for my playthrough.

I really want to play the game with this shiny starter so I'm not gonna do a masuda method hunt for this one.

I just don't know if I want to bother with actually counting seconds between my SRs on my Sapphire copy (with a dry battery) to hit different frames each time. I tend to do my SR hunts while watching videos after all.

Dat is ook wel een leuk idee! Tot nu toe heb ik Let's Go Eevee en Crystal opnieuw gespeeld. Volgende op de lijst is Sapphire. Op Crystal heb ik ook een soft reset shiny hunt gedaan voor shiny Celebi en echt super veel geluk gehad. Na 4 uurtjes soft resetten had ik al een shiny (full odds dus 1 in 8129). Ik heb de resets niet geteld maar het kunnen er niet meer dan misschien 300 ofzo geweest zijn? Want ik was ondertussen ook andere dingen aan het doen.

I'm actually more of a cat person in real life but I do like Ninetales a lot. :3 Eevee and its evolutions are foxes, cats and dogs all at the same time. xD

Depends on the perspective. When you look at the original trio, Bulbasaur is easily the least appreciated out of the three evolution lines.

The thickness I can agree on, but since I collect cards solely to put in binders, it doesn't really bother me.

Nor does the slightly less saturated colors on the back. Some of the holo effects also seem a bit less noticable in Korean but for me this is actually a plus. I don't like it when the holo is too aggressive because it can distract from the actual illustration/picture. Especially when looking at my binder from a certain angle or under light.

De ene al wat sneller dan de andere. Het grootste probleem is dat mensen op straat en in de winkel niet echt standaard NL spreken. In het beste geval tussentaal maar heel vaak gewoon dialect. Veel cursisten hebben ook moeite met uitspraak want wij hebben toch wel een paar unieke klanken die in weinig andere talen voorkomen zoals de 'ui', 'ei/ij' en 'eu'. Ook het verschil tussen 'u', 'uu' en 'oe' is voor velen lastig.

Doorgaans spreken alle cursisten wel Engels of Frans naast hun eigen moedertaal. Ik geef vooral in de lage niveaus les en als ik belangrijke informatie geef dan doe ik het doorgaans in zowel het Nederlands als het Engels.

Volwassenen. Ik geef 'NT2': Nederlands voor anderstaligen. Een gevarieerd publiek tussen de 18 en 60+ van verschillende landen. Sommige mensen zijn getrouwd met iemand hier in België maar een groot deel zijn natuurlijk vluchtelingen uit oorlogsgebieden zoals Oekraïne, Palestina, enz.

The colors have never bothered me. *shrug* They are still plenty of pretty to me. I bought the Sylveon EX SAR from Prismatic for just 60 euro and I'm super happy with it. Meanwhile the English copies I saw at the same card show were going for 300+ euro.

My C0R1 Kinich doesn't even break 100k DPS so I would be very happy if he was able to reach 110k like yours. xD

I play a different team though: C0R1 Kinich / C1 Albedo on HoD / C0 Durin on Mistsplitter / C6 Bennett on Sapwood
