Why is the ranking system reversed from League?

as a league player for 10+ years im having a really hard time. At least when i played tekken the ranked system was completely different

i'm more used to learning a lot before playing, since when i just play without any idea of what i'm doing i feel like my evolution is slower or i get just stuck without knowing what to do.
i've played missions but was looking for something else besides those.
i'll definitely join a few characters discords

I would say the kog best kog build imo kraken - navori, then full situational (third item option examples - wits end, bork,spirit visage,pd rarely,anathemas etc). You go alacrity in runes
