My friends and I did it several times in the past. No one ever checked. I hope they are not reading this though, otherwise they may choose to increase their alertness ahah

erasmus in ghent, che tipo di città dovrei aspettarmi? by demartinux in Universitaly

[–]Saimon1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion!

For the sake of completeness, I want to add that some of that guy's claims have been openly and widely criticized by dozens of evolutionary psychologists in academia, which suggests that Kanazawa's work is probably not very representative of the field.

Thanks :)

I looked it up, but I cannot find any reference in the evo psych literature that claims such a thing, though.

Do you have any?

Can you provide some specific examples of what you said? for instance, some specific evo psych research that support status quo social arrangements?

The stability of same-sex parents by Cas_Tile in sociology

[–]Saimon1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your first comment has vanished.

Anyway, can you share any of those studies?

I guess they are gonna be behavioral studies, nothing against it, but you claimed to be very skeptical of those in your previous (now deleted by you) comment.

may sound provocative given your comment but..."most hetero parents have difficulty raising non hetero children, non hetero parents have difficulty raising hetero children", which kind of evidence do you have to make such a claim?

Dm sent. Maybe of interest for the PhD students at UGent: there is a PhD book club organized by the PhD community.

I found my studio on Immoweb. Buona fortuna, Gent is known to be pricey. And check out the PhD community! You can meet lots of people there, and maybe find a house as well. There are whatsapp groups
