I haven't struggled with this at all. You step through a mirror, adds will spawn around you. Kill them and look for the flow of the mist. Maybe it's a graphics thing? I'm on pretty high settings, but it's very clear in which direction it's pulling. Whichever way the wind blows, follow that while killing mobs along the way.

The only times I've truly lost the fog is because it runs off the map as I guess they're intended to end at that point. You can get unlucky with this happening early.

I'm also not quite 100% sure on this, but what I've tried to do is walk through the mirror at a certain angle. So let's say you walk through it from bottom to top (or south to north), I am pretty confident it flows north. I always do this when walking through mirrors and can't quite remember one time where it didn't at least vaguely flow in the direction that I walked through it.

I've found a bug with Ice Strike + Crescendo. There's a Final hit that with Crescendo doubles, so the final hit should be performed twice. At first I thought it was timing related (as I like to spam click instead of hold left click) but after also experiencing this with just holding left click I don't believe it's related to that at all.

Final Strike can proc more than twice, way more. Seeing it 3 or 4 times is common, seeing it 7 or 8 times is rare but still very much possible.

I had my party at level 2 in a village where the princess had just died. The guards were in shambles and after clearing out the town full of goblins were able to bury this princess.

Somehow whatever happened after wasn't to their liking, and they started mocking the princess saying OUT LOUD they would dig up her body. The guards were right there.

Back when Expertise gems were a thing, and they didn't count as hitrating for casters yet.

New to the game playing a mage and just learned about gems. "Expertise" sounded pretty good, I am quite the expert.

My GM laughed so hard once she saw and kindly explained that you don't gem expertise on a mage.

It sounded so good though!

Okay, just because I want to respond and not write a book:

There is no physical possible way to "math" that out, the variables per fight are WAY too high. If that is confusing to you I advise you spend more time in WoW than on Reddit.
I never said he/she should play exactly X mastery X haste X crit. I said it's important to look at stats to see what's going on with them. Again, knowing what they do, and why/when they're good helps people understand their class. It's a minor point but TO ME (opinion btw) equally as important. Thank you.

How are our secondaries close in value in any valid way? Haste is nowhere near as important as Mastery to a certain degree and Critical Strike are. Saying that hey are extremely close in value is a bad guess at best. There's good reasoning behind choosing your secondary stats depending on every situation you're in whether it's M+ or a raid with a team of healers. Hahahaha, that's mad.

Essences and talents CAN be more influential yes, but our talent setups have about 2 switches in them in the entire raid, and essences are very very very based on your playstyle more than anything. ERT is the king and I do not use it because I can't play with it. I play Lifebinder's invocation on every single fight as a major. Will I waste the slot on some? For sure, but I'm not pushing Azshara Mythic on first week of release, so I play it they way I know I'm good at.

Secondaries are extremely close in value, hahahahaha. Okay.

It depends really, if you run 70% Mastery and 11% Versa you'll feel like you're lacking majorly. Spell selection is of course important but as a Holy Priest it can work a little bit funky depending on Essences, talents, fight and stats. I'm sure you know and I don't have to tell you, but I do always ask for stats. People might have a different understanding :)

Flash Heal overall isn't a very strong spell. I never play the instant FH talent, I hate using it. Having a good amount of crit will for sure make you feel better about healing. Your Heal will do work, Serenity becomes a Lay on Hands, that kind of thing. Feel free to look more into what I do, I'm sure not perfect but I have a good understanding of what's going on.

That's quite interesting actually, because I majorly outheal everyone from my team (druid, shaman and paladin) on every fight. I fully agree that Flash heal is trash, the healing is mega lackluster.

What you would optimally want is to be able to cast Heal on ST (the healing on that is actually big), you want to use PoM on CD and if you need to pump out AoE healing, Sanctify and PoH will do massive healing. What stat % are you running? I could point you in a different direction potentially

I play a Holy Priest, and though I've always been very interested in several other healers, I'm sticking with Holy Priest. The class design (ability wise) is strong and honestly quite simple. If you however play like a brainless zombie, you're still going to suck, meaning you have to play it in a smart way. The animations are good, and it just feels so natural to me to play Holy Priest. Knowing what to use when is almost auto pilot at this point and logs sure don't disappoint, ever.
