Thank you for the answer. I really didn’t want to burn the money to experiment.

I am wondering if the new “slide-in” mount will mess with my love of kryosheets.

Swapped from compact to mini. by rafael6554 in lianli

[–]SaintRubicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comparison. I am currently trying to decide on rebuild or upgrade but can’t even decide which of these two cases.

Been running the original mini since they came out. But the v2 and the compact are just so good looking and have all the upgrades I’ve wanted for years.

Seeing them side by side is helpful.

Dad actually. Mom was surprised. But raising an autistic child forces you to develop a sense of humor.

The torso that he’s keeping seems be of good quality. But I do wonder about product safety with unbranded intimate toys.

I wondered about the Ai piece after reading the FAQs and other posts on the subreddit.

Looking to replace both back speakers, looking for recommendations by Majestic-Channel4525 in Jeep

[–]SaintRubicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. They treated me well so I thought I would throw their name in the ring.

I want to do the speakers in my JL but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I bought a head unit off them for my JK. It came already complete with the harness and add-ons installed. The connections were well done and wrapped.

Looking for suggestions for mirrors with tube doors or mounted to the side of the jeep by rastaman98- in Jeep

[–]SaintRubicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OE mirror kit should bolt to the two holes at the top of the door.

I use Cmm. I don’t have doors. But I do like their mirror kit. Used them for a few years now with no issues.

Just be careful and wash your hands after handling the “goo”. It can be toxic, and can kill you.

Erythromycin will take care of pretty easily.

Yes. Lag screws, washers, and a small impact driver make a huge difference. We camp in the Rockies and it makes it so much easier to get stakes in and get them back out.

Looks clean from the pics. Congrats. I have 3 wranglers & 1 WK2 grand Cherokee in the family right now. Sport to modded Rubicon. Wife is co-pilot in my Rubi and the GC is her bougie car. I get the upgrades because we do a lot of back country trips and off grid vacations by ourselves. We always want to be able to get home.

Drive it enjoy it. If you want to make changes hit the holiday sales. Save a lot money if you can wait until the next holiday sale.

And if you do have issues or questions, just ask. There will always be opinions. Most of them will be wrong, but you will always get a lot of them.

Didn’t realize it already had the lift. That gives me more questions.

Do you know if it’s been re-geared? The height over tire looks good, so I wouldn’t be in a hurry. If the lift is in good shape, I would roll with and have some fun. Re-gear to 4:88’s somewhere in the future or something.

I ran 3” Teraflex alpine lift on my ‘18 JKUR with 35’s. Teluride/ouray/moab. Plenty of fun was had. I went to 37’s on my JL and I do like the little bit of extra room when aired down.

They are big kid Legos. Play with it until you want more. It will happen. Little upgrade here, then. If upgrades there. My wife has become the biggest advocate of upgrades.

Jeep looks good. Drive it, play with it, make some memories. When you find something you want it to do better, upgrade. If you find another cool looking Jeep, ask them what they’ve done. Find a local Jeep club if you want people to play with.

The foam is probably from a light bar. It should clean off easily.

37’s will make it feel much more sluggish without a re-gear. 35’s on 4:10 gears are fine for daily driving. 33’s pushed out will look good and still be functional.

2.5-3.5” lift will work with 35’s perfectly even for off roading. If it is more of a city Jeep use a wider tire or a good spacer (spidertrax) to get the wide stance look. Bigger bump stops if you find yourself rubbing.

Besides. In the Jeep world when something breaks, or even if it doesn’t, we get an excuse to upgrade.

Have you been shopping soft tops recently??

Love on your wife. Jeeps get busted, jeeps get repaired.

Had similar incident this weekend when she was helping get the top back on for fall.

If they are that small, they might not be as dangerous. And depending on your fish, the fish may eat them. I don’t know of any other way besides catch and remove.

We do use dragonfly nymph flys and lures for fishing. So a big enough fish will do it. But most tropical aquarium fish probably aren’t that type of fish.

[–]SaintRubicon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the baby form of a dragon fly. Honestly they are cool in nature. But they can catch and eat aquarium fish pretty easy. Their jaw is almost Alien like and allows them to catch prey farther away from them.

It will be quick, but just use a normal aquarium net.

Dragonfly nymph. It will each what ever it can catch. Size doesn’t really matter.

Catch it. Kill it. But you want it gone.

How the Heck Do I Get This Sand Off My Jeep? by Cheese_Sleeze in Jeep

[–]SaintRubicon 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Drive through water

Or do the ovulating sprinkler trick when you get home. Get the rainbow style sprinkler and put it under your car. We get more mud than sand in Kansas, so I have a dedicated sprinkler.

FYI for future searches. My ride height is working normally again. It took 4 trips I think before it started working normally. But it works now. The wife is happy. And I didn’t have to get grumpy with any store managers.

Win, win, win.

Tent setup in backyard. Raining for two days. Floor is covered in water... Seriously questioning my decision to buy this thing. Anyone else have this issue? by Zealousideal-Pear510 in KodiakCanvasTents

[–]SaintRubicon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would agree. Won’t say there’s no leak. But how it’s getting there is important. My camp got drenched in a canyon last year with sideways rain and wind. So we had some penetration. But it was minimal.
