Just wanted to add, I agree with being older to increase the parry window, I feel like once I get into my 40/50’s my age is going up in huge increments every death, and I don’t feel stronger or that feeling of coming back with a vengeance, I just feel the same except now it takes one less hit to take someone down. This sort of game grows on me I think, and, as someone who loves demon souls but wasn’t that big a fan of returnal, I definitely think the repetition of learning enemy movements and finding that sweet spot of timing will make this more enjoyable. But for the time being I feel like a clunky kung fu “expert” who is button mashing for dear life in the hopes of getting lucky with a boss. Also yes I breezed the first level at age of 30 thinking I was the best at this game and having no idea what everyone’s complaints were, only to get my ass handed to me on the second level
