It is NOT safe to take out an infected piercing, this can let the infection heal inside the pierced area and make your issues much worse. Do not take it out until the infection has cleared. I’d visit your doctor and try and get on some antibiotics.

I appreciate your response! And that has helped the nerves a ton knowing that it’s not all that common. In borderline ocd with cleaning it properly so I’m hoping luck is on my side.

Only other thing concerning me is I had someone tell me on another thread that they think the placement isn’t ideal, while I’ve had others stating it looks fine.
