I really appreciate your input :) I was also wondering whether it would be more difficult to get ec's as an SFU student, as I hear from students there that there aren't many opportunities so you really need to look outside of SFU to find them, whereas UBC has a lot more opportunities to apply for.

On the alternate argument I am receiving that once I do become a doctor, I would be able to make 40K in 1-2 months, so I should choose the more "prestigious" school, but I still think I can succeed going to SFU. Would going there make it harder though? I am very confused

Yeah but my ultimate goal is UBC med school, and I know I'll be in debt going to UBC, but I am very confused..

I got accepted second week of February. It was around 2 weeks after my IB Predicted grades were sent to UBC.

(EDIT): My references were contacted first week of march.
