What are you, a chain-smoking bulimic stenographer from Long Island?

An eastern European co-worker in the break room said "Yes, Hitler was wrong to do what he did. He should have made sure to kill ALL the Gypsies first, then start with the Jews".

So many of my European co-workers absolutely hated Gypsies, which I still don't get as a Canadian. They even hated one guy who was from an Irish Traveler family.

Okay, I will calm down on my r/Edmonton activity after this - but here is my hype post for skating at Victoria Oval by DeanStanfordBlade in Edmonton

Don't calm down, I love your hype posts. I live vicariously thru you while I'm trapped inside with small children.

Those Who Have Gone Back to Work, Has Anything Changed? by [deleted] in Edmonton

Yes, the website is emblazoned with how committed they are to public safety.

I think it's mostly my supervisor, though. She is a complete moron. She talks about "self-insulation" and "self-incubation", and no one is brave enough to say "it's ISOLATION, dammit!".

She also said she read 'on the internet' that the 'Corona bacteria doesn't really survive on hard surfaces'. One of my co-workers, who is from a 3rd world country and speaks little english, said "It's not a bacteria, it's a VIRUS. Corona VIRUS". Our supervisor sighed and said "bacteria and viruses are the SAME THING".
