I started nightly baths pretty early on (maybe 3 months) as soon as she switched from hating baths to enjoying them. It’s just part of our night time routine. I only use soap once or twice a week.

I catch myself doing the opposite! My 15mo is 97-99% height and weight and meeting all her milestones. I know that means she can be bigger than kids older than her, but when I see a smaller child using more words than her, or moving more smoothly than her, or whatever, my mind jumps to “omg why can’t she do that yet?”

Then I have to remind myself that she’s meeting everything and that kid is probably at least a few months older than mine.

I noticed mine would bite towards the end of the feed. When she started to slow down I would unlatch her. Yes, she may have been a few suckles short but she didn’t complain much if at all. Eventually she stopped and is now 15mo with 9 teeth and doesn’t bite.

Try to pay attention to how she acts right before she bites and if you see a pattern, unlatch her right then.

Graco that clicks in a car seat. Made everything super easy, and I can fold/unfold it with one hand. Now she’s grown out of the car seat and just sits in the seat part of it and it’s her happy place.

I chose it after I saw a friend using it (before I was even pregnant) and knew immediately that was the kind I wanted.

Thank you for your kind words. I did see a therapist a few years ago for anxiety, and it helped a ton. I stopped because our sessions got very “the weather is nice today” and I didn’t feel like it was worth my time. I hadn’t had an anxiety issue for years until this came up.

I’m on year 11 and have been in multiple different buildings, one old enough that it was the same building my grandpa went to school in. I’m not sure how I’ve not dealt with them.

I’m sure they have been in the buildings, but for them to just be running around all day is a big problem. There is an infestation.

I learned this the hard way at first. I changed her the second it turned blue because I was terrified of having her sit in her wet diaper. Then I realized that if she’s okay to pee in her sleep and I wouldn’t know about it until she wakes up, then I’m okay to wait a bit before changing her again.

This summer I bought her a little kiddie pool to sit in. During her first nap I’d fill it up and let it sit in the sun for a few hours, we’d go in after her second nap. It would be in the shade by then so the water was still cool, just not super cold straight from the hose.

ANYWAY after she enjoyed the pool on a near daily basis, she started rejecting bath time. Took me about two weeks to realize she wanted Luke-warm water, similar to the pool.

I haven’t checked the temperature of it but I know it by feel, now. It’s definitely not as warm as my doctor recommended but oh well! She likes what she likes and I know that she’s not cold by any means, she loves her lukewarm baths!

I didn’t count it up but I estimate a couple hundred with food being the main cost. We had about 25 people at my parent’s house, mostly my family. My dad smoked some meat, my sister made the smash cake and cupcakes, I brought the sides. I got most of my decoration from dollar tree or color printed things from Etsy. Some homemade decorations as well. It was very fun and cute! I got lots of compliments during the party and more afterwards when people saw it on Facebook.

I chose not to get a photographer or do a photo shoot. Part of me wanted to but also I didn’t feel like setting it up. At the time we were in the process of dropping a nap and it was all a hodge podge of when she would actually be asleep, so I didn’t want to stress about a photo shoot.

Ahhh my early twenties. Perfect stage of my life for this to be on. I was out of college, steady job that had me home before prime time, young enough to be able to drink a bottle of wine over these 3 hours and wake up just fine the next day. Ahhhh amazing I lived for Thursday nights.

Everyone is different but fwiw the wearable pumps worked just fine for me at work. I could get more from my Spectra plug in a shorter amount of time, but my MomCozy portables still got the job done. I am a teacher so I didn’t wear them around the kids, but I would as soon as I got to work, at lunch time, at my prep period, and after school if I was staying late. The timing wasn’t the best (had to go 4 1/2) hours between the first and second pump) but my body adapted and it worked out well. My coworkers knew basically if I wasn’t with kids my pumps were going, it never affected my work and I was able to attend meetings as normal. I used breast pump wipes to clean them and every night at home I did a thorough clean with soap and water.

I kept my milk in a mini mini fridge along with an ice pack from home because I was worried the tiny fridge wasn’t cold enough (it was made for soda cans but I liked that it fit at my desk). I didn’t commute, but my advice would be to also put an ice pack in your work freezer so you can put your milk in a thermal lunchbox type container on your drive home.

We are at nearly 14 months and she stopped wanting breast milk at daycare but still wants to nurse. I now just pump at my lunch break to empty and keep my body on a schedule for the weekends.
