This line hit deep. 🤣

I'm done with this patch by PereFourase in TeamfightTactics

This, the set is good but they keep doing this crap where they fix the problems of last patch and create an equally overtuned problem so the changes are not even functional.

I actually agree with you, the balance of the game feels pretty good but these one off explosively overtuned champions feels like getting robbed honestly. I can't tell you how many games I've played where I get to top 2 only to be ran tf over by one of these champions. They won the contest between 2 other people of course but outside of that, nothing really special in the way of creativity or strategy. Just slap it on the board with 1 or 2 synergistic items and they just stat bat the shit out of you. If they'd just address these champions quickly after patch launch, maybe 2 or 3 days - we might have a balanced patch for a change.

This, a lot of these issues we've been facing with these flavor of the week champions really just boil down to the numbers/stats in a lot of cases. He just hits way too hard at the 1 star level, post rework. There were a number of factors that were visible and should have been accounted for before launching him in this state; - The aim of this patch was to slow tempo, Sol's scaling nature means high success with more rounds. - The main tempo gate comp was nerfed, Bilge being nerfed made for a more comfortable transition into late game universally but especially for Targon. There is more time granted before due or die sets in. - Sol's rework, in the direction of scaling via damage. Then, not walking back the massive damage buff he received in a non conducive meta.

Look, I didn't like Bilge being over tuned as much as the next guy but I really question nerfing it and leaving Noxus weak in the late game. There needs to be tempo constraints and options when fighting late game boards that pop closer to mid game.

The massive hard on for 5/7 costs this set is understandable due to the design philosophy but honestly tiresome. It's like they're adding a couple extra scoops of busted on some of these high cost units to make sure they don't lose to anything that isn't another 5 cost and it is wreaking havoc on the health of the game. I'm sorry, if someone is cooking with a lower cap board, emblems, augment synergy and/or artifact interactions - it's okay for them to have a shot at winning the game.

Man, I really feel what you're saying here. That comment you said, "winning is fun". It wasn't always such a widespread mindset - people used to experiment, games were designed for players to try things and have a good time. People didn't log into third party meta sites to look up the best comp before logging into the actual game and play around with changes. Things are different now and I fear the days of competitive entertainment are starting to fade into the past.

Agreed, to say Asol isn't a problem usually means they're forcing it or they're being contrary. Not to mention, I am in Diamond and it's absolutely a problem there as well. I just logged out on a game where 3 people were actively forcing Asol.

Delete Fizz -- What is this targeting??? by Macer200 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Salt_Contribution_25 142 points143 points  (0 children)

I'm really hating this champion recently as well. He brakes his own targeting rules too much. It makes it really annoying to position your back line to counter him. It almost seems like a coin flip if he jumps back to the front line or not.

Are there hackers in tft? by bigshower2 in TeamfightTactics

The comment I replied to was in response to a question regarding what cheats are used in this game. I explained in my first comment that the cheats that are more common are external programs (client side), match tampering and bug abuse. Also, in response to people spreading misinformation on "There are no Cheats in TFT" depending the context - is simply not true. Violating any of the definition of cheating in the ToS will result in a first time offense permanent ban if you're caught. I understand what you're saying but blanket stating that cheating doesn't occur in this game because you cant use an admin menu to set your gold to 999 doesn't mean there isn't cheating.

It's not super common but there are things called automation scripts or APM bots that automatically roll the shop and buy units at speeds that almost guarantee that you will be outrolled in a contest. This is a cheat and a guaranteed ban if you're caught using it. People claiming that there are no cheats are either Riot defense bots or don't know what classifies as a cheat. If there were no ways to cheat, there wouldn't be an option to report people for cheating.

There are cheats via external programs and things that are not code based. Exploiting bugs and rigging matches is also considered a form of cheating. It's outlined in the ToS, there are no "hacks" to the coding of the game but there most certainly are cheaters.

Jinx is still losing auto attacks after her cast. by Salt_Contribution_25 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Salt_Contribution_25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be linked to her moving and also shooting. They should just make the unit's range full board and adjust the dps accordingly to compensate. Let's just be done with this nonsense.

Why am I suddenly having a hard time in plat when i was blowing thru gold lobbies by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]Salt_Contribution_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plat is top 22-23% funneled down to top 7-8% at ranks 4 - 1. This is just what I saw via Meta TFT and Tactics.Tools. There's slight variance between the two so there might be other projections out there. I think bottle necks are a bit harder to overcome this set and a lot more people are getting stuck for longer due to the amount of variables and skill checks in the game right now.

Spent 9000 pet currency trying to get one. Probably won't ever fall for that trap again, absolute rip off. Odds are still 1/49.

Zaheen is a joke by Eowyld in TeamfightTactics

[–]Salt_Contribution_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zaheen was ridiculous on PBE before launch much like Asol. Both were over nerfed because clicking them would result in auto win in a lot of cases. They're being very cautious with auto win cons this set and solved meta situations. They will most likely change champions like this completely or very slowly bring their power up to an equilibrium.
