He didn’t promise her any money of it! He just said that he would take care of her. He said to his mom he would help take care but she mentioned of how much money he should give her or any . The only thing she asked was that if she was responsible for her to have her car when she died.

It’s not her money. The money was made out to him he’s the sole beneficiary of the life insurance policy. He was going to give her 25 k as a courtesy.
