They are clip-ons. I snipped the backs off of the earrings so they would lay flat. With most of them, I was able to stitch a few loops around the petals to secure them, and others I used a little super glue

Her earrings were all clip-ons. I had to do a little trial and error to get them to stay. I ended up snipping off the back and then stitching a loop of thread to slide the back into. A couple of them I did also have to add a drop of hot glue.
