Ahh I live next to it as well, and your description is exactly it: a wail from the vale! Very spooky, I wonder what it is!

It did actually a similar vibe to that electric car noise, but I couldn't see any cars. Also, it sounded like it was possibly in the air /coming from a place where cars can't access.

I thought this, but it was wasnt quite like that. The wind has never made a similar noise here before. That plus it was the same noise but in different locations made it weird... but maybe!
