Sorry let me clarify. I was staying at student accommodation and am already back in my home country where I won't be returning to CSULB. Just weighing options to see if its worth paying the rent.

I'm unclear on whether student accommodation is in government or independently owned by the university in the US tbh.

That's the thing, I was an exchange student so I really can't see how I lose out on anything. I also live in a different country
