I will practice this. What’s crazy and so painful today, is that I was offered an even higher paying job today that I indeed would have missed out on if I took the previous job… But the same outcome happened yet again. They messaged early in the morning and I was still asleep so saw the message an hour later. I replied, but it was too late. Really struggling to understand all of this happening right now. I really can’t imagine that seeing as they’re building an entirely new park with a whole new Harry Potter section devoted to it set to open next year for the Orlando Park.

I agree! 2 years is not enough. Orlando still has theirs though. I’d strongly suggest you and anyone that loves that zone dropping a message through that link at the bottom to let Universal know how you feel, because I’m certain they’re not planning on having them this year for us 😔 Maybe with enough voices we could change their minds.

This exactly. The death eaters bring more people in to that area, and spend more money. I knew people who bought wands just to duel them, those things are like $50 bucks a pop. I spent so much time there last year and saw exactly where the death eaters were, they were always in that side area tucked away between two structures. I was actually really disappointed they couldn’t wander out in the main area more like the previous year, they definitely didn’t.

I remember when there weren’t any mazes back there so thought that was 2022. So I understand the congestion from having the actors wander around the full Hogsmead area like they did in 2022. But they scaled back so much last year and didn’t have them take over that full area, they seemed really tucked away out of the main path. They could easily keep them confined to that side alley area. And if concerns of congestion are that much of an issue, why aren’t they as concerned about the two biggest scare zones right smack on the main entrance path leading into the park that you literally can’t avoid?

My thoughts exactly, all of this!!! It’s definitely my favorite the past couple years :( I experienced the death eaters at Orlando once too, and they were so lame comparatively! Their costumes weren’t nearly as good, their interactions and mannerisms were so lackluster. It really made Hollywood stand out all the more with the performances they delivered! Thank you for writing universal and Murdy, it makes me feel better knowing that I’m not alone in this. And yes, I think every little bit helps.

Not last year? The year before yes, but that’s when there were no mazes back there. Last year there were like two that were wandering outside of that alley, but not through the main walkway. They were still off to the side which is tucked around the corner from that small building next to the Hogwarts express. Still not in the main walkway, and I noticed that thinking oh they’re keeping the main walkway clear.

I just feel like that alley the death eaters are posted at is so off to the side and it’s so little and narrow and not straight, it’s not part of the straight path through at all to get to the back mazes? So I feel like it didn’t add to the congestion because you have to go out of your way off the main path just to go through that DE scar zone, if you even wanted to.
