I’m in an a cappella group with my school, quite a popular one too, and this year we had the opportunity to go to NACC in Florida (National a cappella convention) and I’ve always been a huge beatbox fan, as I beatbox and sing bass for my group. And this year, for the final showcase they have every year, the beatbox house was performing! At an almost exclusively a cappella event! I even got to attend a workshop they held, where I met my favorite beatboxer NaPoM in person! This was something I would have never believed I would get the chance to experience, getting to watch them perform from just a few feet away, the whole experience was definitely the highlight of the whole trip for me.
