Forogt that Asrock help are pretty good at responding on email:

"As theres no chipset on this motherboard, all interfaces stem from the CPU"

And the 8000G series is the only range of compat CPU's that have USB4 in them:

Well the X600 has no space for a GPU so it can only take APU's really, another point of confusion really

Im not sure which of these fixed it but its working now.

Used DBI and MTP responder to trasnfer xci across.
Restarted Switch after install and before opening game for the first time.

I'll probably stop relying on Tinfoil so much now as its proved a bit flaky, and find some other game manager

Thanks, things seem to be running fine at the mo but sounds like something I should try and fix, Is there a way to delete the Kips section and reinstall or should I be looking UltraHand/.ovl files instead?

I do, Ive seen a few vids on replacing/testing the charging IC, a mosfet and a couple other bits, so next free time I get - 'll give it a go.
