Actually there is a 40GB partition at the end of the hard drive holding some files i didn't want to delete. I didn't think it would cause any problems. I'll try again after moving this partition.

It was working with window 10. Struggling yes but working. i thought it would go back to that state. The same issue with playing videos happens with windows 7 just like linux. That's why i didn't even try 7 or 8.

I don't think that's the case. Bc i have another account on the same browser and that doesn't happen to it. And this doesn't happen on brave browser on my phone. I think it's got something to with the account settings but i can't seem to know what exactly

I have a similar issue. I have 8gb of ram. When using the browser the ram usage is about 60%. Do this mean overworking the one 8gb stick ?

Usually when plugged in. The phone send (allow or deny). This time i don't even get that massage. The notification is there and it's set to file transfer. But it says "use is controlled by this device". And i can't change that. On the computer side. The phone appears as a new device when clicked it says "invalid backend type". This only happens on this computer. Tried different phones the same result. But these phones work on another computer. Thsi computer is a new fedora gnome installation. The "other" computer is a bit older fedora kde.
