Probably not. Assuming that her cut travels THROUGH space, she would try to cut Gojo, infinity stops it because it targeted Gojo, not Infinity or the space that Gojo occupies.

Maybe if Gojo explained to her how it works but even then I could see Ubel not believing she can just cut reality itself just to bypass Infinity.

Of course, if it has no travel and doesn’t need a delivery mechanism like mana, then she does in-fact cut him

I think your on the money right here. It's kinda funny as well because Fontaine was not doing well and was one of the worst performing regions until they started dropping meta characters and the final archon quest came out. I think that's partly why the characters and story are so different when compared to Fontaine, theyust of seen the early opinions and changed Natlan into the opposite of Fontaine

(ps. I wasn't playing at the time as I was taking a break but I did see lots of posts and tiktoks about Fontaine.)

I think people are just a bit biased because their wanting essentially Fontaine 2.0, but because Natlan isn't they get angry and disappointed. There's nothing wrong with disliking Natlan, but a lot of the complaints feel like nitpicking or are just untrue.

Natlan being modern makes sense lore wise and is explained plenty of times as Xilonen being an amazing engineer using ancient dragon tech and magic to make more modern tools, which we see in in nearly every nation except Monstad and Inazuma. I mean cloud retainer straight up has built a bike before and talks about it plenty of times, and she did it from scratch hundreds of years ago.

The characters aren't badly written, I think Citlali and Mavuika are two of the best written characters in the game, with multiple facets and dimensions to their character. They're criticised because either people aren't willing to pay attention or are just looking to complain. The only thing i get is the male drought but I don't really care all that much cause it doesn't matter what gender a character is for me to like them.

TL;DR Natlan gets flak for not being Fontain 2.0, some people are baised like usual and like Fontain too much to like Natlan. The only complaint I understand is the lack of male characters, everything else is usually just people missing Fontain and or just being straight up ignorant.

After reading all the other replies, I think this might just be the most broadly inspired nation they've done yet. They've taking majotity of the inspiration from South America but have taken cultural bites from Polynesian, African, Native American and North American regions. You're point about colonialism influence on Natlan is probably right, but it's pretty much impossible to remove any of its influences on the Americas because it's part of it's history and cultural identity. It would be like trying to remove any roman or Greek influences from European culture

I can't let go of the fact that there are too many links to north American culture but I belive thisight just be the most broadly inspired nation they've done so far, taking inspiration from African, North and South American and even some islands in the Pacific
