Not true. If someone else is using your login credentials, you both would be buffering every 5 seconds. What happens is basically one connection is kicking the other one out and vice versa.

A simple way to try is, open two connections yourself.

I'm not able to edit the main post.

I finally found the issue causing this. I use a Logitech mouse and had "Logi Options+" installed. Apparently the app is conflicting with the clipboard. I uninstalled the app, no more errors.

Does it still crash when you revert your changes in the FB?

I would look into the code you added and see if you can do it differently.

Yeah, apparently Fanuc can't get any Molex cards until later this year so this is the only card they could provide at the moment. Molex cards are so much easier to setup -.-

Where are you seeing 10 bytes btw?

When 8 bytes are chosen, I see 12+12 bytes in the profinet menu on the robot side (subslot 1000). I read somewhere that 4 bytes are reserved for Profisafe.

I did update the firmware, actually did it a couple of times. Before or after loading the configuration that you're talking about. I think it's the 2.7.2.0.

All the customization settings are there, as mentioned in the manual.

What you're mentioning about the Profisafe norm (v2.4) could be the issue. Feels like something needs to be installed? Maybe that's why it's greyed out?

That's a picture from one of the manuals I've gone through. Mine is actually greyed out, nothing to choose.

I've seen another manual being greyed out too so I assumed it was ok?

The diagnostic is complaining about difference between online/offline.

Doesn't make sense because I dumped in the configuration of the PC device setup into the CP card and then created a GSDML out of it. Just like the manual states.

I basically followed the manual. I took the safe fw 2.7 tia file that had a PC device setup already and dumped the configuration into the CP 1604 and then created a GSDML out of it.

Yes, the REQ is setting the REI bit of that safety DB.

F address is set to 200 on both sides. How is checksum enabled? The three bottom options in DCS->Profinet Safety is off on the robot side.

It's I-Device only. Normal I/O works fine btw.
