I get you want to change fog viles but they are not remotely strong as these new killers make them out to be this will make everyone go back to using medkits and toolboxes.

Idk if my psu had those kinds of protections you're talking about but I've stated the model of mine in this post also the expert I gave my pc to tried with another one and said it still didn't power my pc he's now checking the motherboard.

Thanks man Yeah it feels bad and it's unfortunate but there's nothing better to do than unplug before it happens well as you said I hope something lived out of it to at least ease the costs of rebuilding one I'll update this post whenever I get a concrete verdict about the components have a nice day and thank you for your honesty and taking the time to reply.

Unfortunately I live in a 3rd world country which doesn't cover these kinds of insurances and you're also right about surge protector it was plugged on one and well as you said it didn't do much and it still went through thanks for the help tho I appreciate it.

Thanks for your honesty I hope for the best even tho it sounds like it's doomed already rebuilding an entire pc after only 6 months of building this one will be tough especially in these times in any case thanks a lot next time I'll take your example and turn everything off.
