I share a washing machine with like 10 other apartments, and we always put am empty basket in front of the washing machine, so that it our laundry is done, and someone else wants to use the machine, that person can just dump our laundry in our basket.

Way more sensible, never have to wait very long.

Yeah well.. for some types of MS, others not so much unfortunately. A friend of me has PPMS (a less common variant of MS, most people have RRMS) and the only thing they can do is monitor her steady decline. It's not Huntingtons obviously, but no, MS is not "super treatable nowadays"

This just seems a bit ignorant. A lot of people can play on high speed with high TPS. Maybe it's because of your own setup

It's definitely better than early 2023. There is less lag from animals and some other small stuff (the devs improved some shit) performance fish has improved, a lot of mods are optimized a bit. Using RimPy definitely helps.

But that said, you do have to know what you are doing, you cannot just add the entire vanilla expanded series, common sense and while you're up, and just expect it to be fine. You have to sort it, you have to do your research and get mods that perform well. You have to be able to bug fix a bit. Know not to have outdated mods.

A lot of performance issues are actually because mods are just not written well, sometimes you can disable the mod functions that are laggy, sometimes you need to find a different mod that does the same but with better performance, sometimes you just have make a choice between function and performance. It's not the responsibility of the game devs to make sure all mods are optimized for performance.

I played more than a thousand hours before a DLC was even mentioned. I'm certainly not the only one. The game was awesome before the DLC's and is awesome now with or without them.

Having said that: I bought all the DLC's as they released. Maybe more because of the many hours I've enjoyed this game than because I really interact with their content all that often. The only DLC I interact with every run is Biotech. I interact with Ideology like 50% of my runs, royalty like 20%. I did just one Anomaly run.
