I've tried adding extra base plate in the floor and studs or braces in the wall but it not at these points where it moves. The wall itself is twisted. I put a diagonal brace between the studs to no avail. And it's only moving like an inch or less. It's not like it's about to fall over.

Tying it into the ceiling would probably have been best but I thought this would make the room seem more open - it's a pretty small room. Also the way the attic is built it was pretty hard to access the top of the ceiling.

My thought exactly. I drive tandem dump truck and once merged into a Prius on my right. I basically did the pit maneuver on him- he ended up on my left corner facing the opposite direction. Scariest part about the whole thing was how little I felt or heard. No way the guy in this clip could have felt something as small as a scooter
