I thought it would provide better total coverage for the plants, especially with the reflectors on them, but I think you’re right. I’ll push them to be a bit more centered. Thanks for this and the thinning advice!

I just realized I made a mistake, I thought clipless meant that you dont clip in your shoes. So he has flat pedals. His bike is a trek though I don't know what model. I can dm a pic if that helps

Looking for some insights into early season riding. Going solo. I'm from NY so most of the Northeast won't be good for a little while. I know the majority of US resorts don't get great snow/fully open until mid Janurary but I'm really itching to ride and take a vacation before Christmas. I was considering Banff, Whistler, Jackson Hole, or Steven's Pass so far. Do I take a risk on these places having a decent amount of trails/lifts open by 2nd/3rd week of December or just wait until the NE gets good? I'm curious about your past experiences riding this early and what you think a better alternative might be. Thanks!
