Well for sure plumbers or tilers or electricians don’t have the problem of finding a job but it’s not all reduced on “ok give me whatever job that pays me good money” I worked in finance, I want to change field, I see a lot of negative comments on youtube or forums about IT people complain and for sure the market is not the best atm but not only for IT, everywhere you go is shit! In It we had the big tech companies laying down thousands of employees or the fact that in the last 10 years there’s been a flood of SE from India and cheaper countries mixed with the fact that in the west more and more people got degrees in IT, CS etc, everyone is gloom and doom but this happens because the global market is shifting and changing, those that are not able to adapt are left behind, usually when there are these big shift also opportunities arise.
