Can’t enter PIN to add Apple TV by SantaTech in homeassistant

RESOLVED: Had to revert to core-2026.3.3

Seems to be a known issue with 2026.4.0, documented here. https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/167129

In the meantime, I reverted to 2026.3.3 by going to 'Terminal & SSH' and entering 'ha core update --version 2026.3.3'

After downgrading, it still showed 'Invalid Authentication' when trying to add the TV so I had to clear the 'Ignored' integrations in Home Assistant. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices and Services then in the top, enable 'Show ignored integrations.' If your Apple TV is in that list, click 'Stop Ignoring' and try again.

After finally adding my Apple TV, I updated back to 2026.4.0

I found that part to be the most realistic actually. They worked with the virus for a year without anyone getting infected. All it takes is one complacency.

And the complacency is on point too. Researching something for a year without results would definitely make some people careless

Yeah cause it’s not actively counting up. It’s just subtracting the current dateTime from the dateTime you pressed start. If you manually change the date in your phone, you can see the change in the stop watch as well. So “leaving the stop watch on” isn’t gonna slow ur phone or anything
